At about 2 days without sleep visual hallucinations start occuring without conscience recognition. Things like blinking and there being a flash after or a double shutter effect. Or brighter vivid colors. A couple more days and you're basically reduced to muscle memory actions and the only way to keep engaged is to play music at full volume and sing along.

Now you're mashing muscle memory buttons on autopilot while singing at the top of your lungs. Trying to synchronize your mashing with the unreliable visual input and not the audio...... Never hurts to have a watch at this point.

Well, just yesterday I forgot my Kinetic had a button to reset the time...could have sworn it restarted via the rotor and it wasn't until I saw the picture of it...no, when I closely looked at the picture of it, I realized I had misremembered. I was convinced though.

The button didn't even register when I first found the picture, perhaps due to the astonishment that I could ever have worn such a thing.

That astonishment you recall, rings a bell; that's for sure!

Precisely because you asked! No but seriously mindfulness is all about grounding you in the present moment where the “speed of the passage of time” is irrelevant
